The Dirtiest Man in the World

His name was Amou Haji. Born in 1928 in Iran 🇮🇷, this man lived an extraordinary life in a small village in the south of the country.

For over 60 years, he refused to wash with water or soap, believing it would make him sick. He lived in a makeshift hut, slept in a hole dug in the ground, ate roadkill, and smoked animal dung in an old metal pipe. 😯

Known as “the dirtiest man in the world,” his body was covered in a thick layer of black grime, yet he remained surprisingly healthy.

In 2022, at the age of 94, the villagers finally convinced him to take his first bath in six decades. 🛀

Just a few months later, he passed away peacefully.
